Last updated: 1 February 2025
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Jurelio Financial Consulting (Pty) Ltd ("Jurelio", "we", "us", "our"), a private company incorporated under the laws of South Africa, registration number 2018/427915/07, VAT number 4870193562, with its registered office at 45 Buitengracht Street, De Waterkant, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jurelio.pro (the "Site") and, where applicable, our advisory services. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Nature of this website
The Site is provided for general informational purposes about Jurelio's wealth, investment, tax and retirement planning services. Content published on the Site — including articles, guides, case studies and figures — is general in nature, does not constitute personalised financial, tax or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Any formal advice is only provided once a written engagement or advisory agreement has been concluded between you and Jurelio Financial Consulting (Pty) Ltd, following a proper needs analysis in accordance with applicable South African financial advisory regulation.
3. Eligibility and acceptable use
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers or networks;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material via the Site;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the Site without our written consent;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with Jurelio.
4. Contact forms and enquiries
Where you submit information to us via a contact form, booking request or newsletter signup, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it. Submitting an enquiry does not, by itself, create an advisory relationship or any obligation on our part to provide services; it is an invitation for us to respond to your request. Personal information submitted through the Site is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the Jurelio name and wordmark, layouts and underlying code — is the property of Jurelio Financial Consulting (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property law. You may view and print pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify, reproduce or distribute the content without our prior written consent.
6. No investment advice or offer
Nothing on this Site constitutes, and should not be construed as, an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any financial product, security or investment instrument. Past performance figures, illustrative returns or case studies referenced on the Site are not a reliable indicator of future results. Investment, tax and retirement outcomes depend on individual circumstances, and you should seek personalised advice from a suitably licensed advisor before making any financial decision.
7. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any linked third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement by Jurelio.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Jurelio Financial Consulting (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including reliance on any general information published on it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or as provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, where applicable.
9. Availability of the Site
We aim to keep the Site available and functioning correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict availability of all or part of the Site for business or operational reasons, including maintenance, without prior notice.
10. Advisory services and separate agreements
Where you engage Jurelio for wealth, investment, tax or retirement planning services, that engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement (including applicable fee, mandate and disclosure documentation), which will take precedence over these Terms in respect of the services concerned. These Terms apply only to your use of the Site itself.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or business practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
